Can't get past profile in MSIE/Edge

My profile has been saved numerous times, returning me to the main page where I'm instructed to begin by selecting play. When I do that, it says I need to complete my profile. This is my first challenge so I'm wondering if getting past the profile setup screen is the first challenge..Please help.

@jcwiekalo have you tried hitting "save" on the profile edit page?

The notification for colliding usernames used to be fairly subtle.. it's more obvious now, but if for some reason the username-collision doesn't work right, you might have seen that behaviour. I think that should be fixed.

I am having this same problem. Have hit Save plenty of times, tried different user names, including for sure unique. Logged out and in. What next to try?

Can you take a look at your Javascript console (F12 -> click on 'console') and see if there's anything that looks suspicious? Or, just dump it all here if you're okay with that.

Also, make sure Javascript is enabled - I'm actually not sure what would happen if it isn't.

Werid! I see microsoft links - is this in Edge? I'll have to try and track down a Microsoft machine, maybe it's something about the specific browser.

If you can, give it a shot in Chrome or Firefox to see if that helps?

This appears to be an issue with Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge. We're aware of it now and working on a resolution. In the meantime please use Google Chrome or Firefox, thank you!
