Welcome to the HeavyFileHunter repository! This Bash script is designed to hunt down and list large files in specified directories, making disk space management easier.
- 📁 Searches for files by size in a specified directory.
- 🎨 Colorful display of results for better readability.
- 📊 Counts and displays the total number of files found.
To use HeavyFileHunter, you will need:
- A Linux-based operating system.
- Bash installed (usually available by default on most Linux distributions).
No installation required! Simply clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/DeadGolden0/HeavyFileHunter.git
cd HeavyFileHunter
Note
To run the script, navigate to the HeavyFileHunter directory and execute:
./HeavyFileHunter.sh
Warning
If the script requires access to files with special permissions, you may need to run it with sudo:
sudo ./HeavyFileHunter.sh
Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the directory path and the minimum file size to search for.
