Enhancement Summary

I have used automation tracks to build a song by realtime recording tracks mute/unmute. Unfortantly I cannot record changes afterwads. When I select 'turn all recordings on" it removes all previous data even I did not clicked on mute/unmute.

Implementation Details / Mockup

When re-reording an automation track, leave the current values and only make changes at the positions a change is detected.

If I am understanding this correctly, you recorded muting/unmuting tracks using the automation clip record feature, but when you play the song back while the clips are still in record mode, the recorded automation is overwritten with whatever the current state of the track is (muted/unmuted)? And you would rather the automation clips only overwrite the value if the button/knob/model is changed, even if the current unchanged value differs from the currently recorded value?

Hi, that is indeed the case. For example I have a track on which the bassline is not starting on the beginning. Later on in the track I like to make some changes. So I only set that automation track in record mode. When I play the song and in the automation the first position comes where the bassline would start, that point will be overwritten with a mute.
