"Named Entities" usually refer to proper names of persons, countries, cities and so on.
The transformation tool is already capable of replacing them by appropriate URIs from dbpedia.
Beyond that, strings from a fixed set of strings occur also as, say, elements of a taxonomy,
or elements of something that would be enumeration types in programming languages.
A generic concept for treating these cases should be devised.
