Start server on startup

I want the server to start on startup, so I made a shell script for it

cd ~/arrpc
node src

and set it to run on startup with cronie

@reboot ~/arrpc/start_arrpc.sh 

but that doesn't work, and I don't want a terminal laying around when I want to have rpc, is there another way to have it run in background on startup ?

Perhaps you could try using the full path of your home directory instead of "~/arrpc", maybe that's why it is not working.

Ye that could work, tho I realized vesktop detect rpc without arrpc server and the plugin, so ig it's built-in maybe ?

Yes, Vesktop has ArRPC built in

O ye so that's cool, tho for ppl using normal vencord ig they can try that and use pm2 instead of node like this

@reboot cd home/user/arrpc && pm2 start src

not usre if it works but it's worth trying

I think it would need a "/" in front of home as well.

Though I use my desktop environment to run a .sh script under my user account and it works nicely.
