It finds the SMBIOS table entry, then patches type 0 - 1 - 2 and 3 with no errors shown, however when I then type exit and boot into Ubuntu I find the output of sudo dmidecode -t 2 is the same, unlike in the reference images - I'm using an Asus Motherboard and copied the files from the .img in the downloads section of this repo

as already said by some users this will not work on modern firmware, also the author himself said that he wanted to implement a minimal working example. if you want to achieve perfect work you need to implement a copy of the table, modifies the copy, and replace the pointer in the efi configuration table
