self._mapdl.parameters["__node_loc__"] = self.nodes
self._mapdl.vfun("__node_loc_cs__", "local", "__node_loc__", CS_id)
return self._mapdl.parameters["__node_loc_cs__"]

We do not need to do mapdl.nodes to store an array with the nodes, a *vGET should be enough (and faster)
