Don't redirect to default locale

Is it possible to not redirect if the matched locale is the default?

For example, if the default locale is "en", stay at "/" instead of redirecting to "/en/".

Unless this is not recommended for some reason?

We could implement a feature that when the found locale is null for the uri path strategy, a default one is picked. Not sure how this boils down in the chain of strategies, but it might be a nice idea to implement.
