A textual representation of the chart #5
Comments
How might this plain text representation look, as distinct from the LaTeX and Graphviz formats? |
Well, being that I can’t read latex, and the other format puts it in this odd-looking html-like code format, I was thinking markdown which I can then transfer into something word could read or something I could put on my website. That is about as far as my thought process goes as I tend to treat concept maps like an outline as that is what they are with points, and sub points, just in picture form. Maybe there is a way to represent this in markdown via lists and sub lists and sub sub lists.

I'd be happy to consider a PR for this feature! Perhaps doing something similar to the |
I’m embarrassed to say I cannot code; I will be looking into how to create one. Or would somehow uploading a textual example in markdown help? I’m thinking the thing would be in markdown so the person can convert it into what ever they want to convert it to later for let’s say a ppt presentation.
I am actually working on a chart for myself so this will be handy for accessibility so I can attempt to make the presentation more accessible for everyone.

I'm using version 1.0, the only one of the releases. I do have a suggestion. I was trying to create a textual version of the chart so I could paste it onto the slide along with the concept map for people to follow. Is there no way to do this as of yet? Since I cannot paste in latex, I was hoping for a plain text representation I could work with. So far, I'm loving the program and it's helping me organize my thoughts. Thanks.
