stylix seems to not set xcursor correctly with catppuccin themes

I am having a problem where xcursor is not being set correctly somehow, the theme is the same as hyprcursor, but I get the default cursor. I can set it through nwg-look, and it works through that but not through stylix alone, any ideas? The theme is Catppuccin Mocha Light

Are you using an application where we are not explicitly supporting cursors:

Maybe cursor support is missing for your application.

no its not that, wayland cursor is set correctly but ALL Xcursor is not set correctly, and only on catppuccin.

Maybe our implementation is not properly handling this, although I never had such an issue.

Can you provide steps to reproduce this issue? For example, the Stylix version, the stylix.cursor values, the graphical environment, and an application manifesting this issue.
