actually, we need a more generic mechanism for users to clear their notifs serverside otherwise we see stuck notifs on all clients. keeping this bug open to track that. |

We need to check the 'dontSendReadReceipts' synced setting in accountData, and if so, clear the app's notifs somehow at launch.
This solves the concerns in turt2live/matrix-react-sdk@1bdae49.
