SQL input plugin to custom output plugin ( API )

General question regarding the SQL input plugin. It is working currently and reading changes to the table I created. However I do not want to send to another SQL database, instead I want to grab the message and I have a custom output plugin that can send to our API. Is this possible without custom coding of the output plugin?
