Just tried this out when I tried to give to hackNY - I clicked on the amount that I wanted to give, but I had to refresh the page to see the '$NUM people ready to give' increment.

Minor issue, but makes for a slightly better experience for new users.

I started learning AngularJS with the projects feature (#449). I've been thinking that we should port to that (#833), in part for the data-binding support. That would address this.
