I decided to move away from Staticman for blog comments and move to Discussions on GitHub for couple of reasons:

1. Notifications
   The current comments didn't really have any proper notification system and whenever someone replied to your comment, you had to check the site manually. With GitHub Discussions, you can Subscribe to specific discussions as needed and get replies to your e-mail.
2. Spam
   The comments (despites use of Akismet, which is by the way really great) received a lot of spam, which is very likely to stay forever in the PR list. Using GitHub discussions requires a valid GitHub account (which is easy to get, but also proves you are not a bot).

I might look into something different in the future, there is giscus which works directly with GitHub Discussions, but I think for the time being, this is good enough.
