any thoughts on this? i have been wandering further off the 'async rust' track recently so i haven't really thought about making any changes and i'm not really involved in that ecosystem any more.

I guess as there haven't been new issues or anything, I guess it would be a good idea to publish a v1.0. My involvement with that ecosystem by now is mostly in reviewing code, mostly because I don't have much time and energy to spend on building new stuff, as I currently try to invest more energy into finishing a university degree.
