we are running with kops 1.29.0 (with kubernetes 1.29.5) and trying to upgrade to kops 1.31.0 (with kuberenetes 1.31.6).
spec:
kubernetesVersion: 1.31.6
upgraded the version for the above attribute and ran the below command
kops update --yes 5. What happened after the commands executed?
cluster got upgraded successfully, master node came up with latest version (1.31.6) and worker node came up with older version (1.29.5) 6. What did you expect to happen?
expectation is to comeup both master and worker node with latest version (1.31.6)
7. Anything else do we need to know?
without making any changes if we ran the kops update again then the worker nodes are coming up with 1.31.6
