How exactly would we want this visualised, as a big list of events? And more importantly, seeing that I will need to manually handle the information it will be quite cumbersome to have the list up to date. Would it not be simpler to just list the most important events such as special "kodstugor", nwerc, impa? |

The common ones can be automatically inserted/generated. This includes all kodstuga-events, which are in some calendar already. IMPA and NCPC can be updated once or twice a year. IMPA could be scraped from the website. Other events, like game jams, can be added when the event is decided. It's a 5-minute job to update, a few (up to 10?) times a year. |

Yes, guess you are right about the automating the "kodstuga"-events and I don't have a problem updating when it comes to gamejams etc. Though I see still see some minor issues that must be handled. When it comes to the Kodstugor-events we have quite a few of them and to me at least, stating exact information about every single one seems excessive and not very useful for anyone. I mean, who will need that level of information on the website, and if we choose to have them all how should it be presented in a user-friendly manner? I would like to just say that we have these events every week. and then simply referring to the calendar. Doing this will allow us to have a much simpler design for the page, I think. Or what do you think? |

The main purpose of the data dump is to show that we have done a ton of stuff. Starting the page by stating what kinds of events we have, and when the next ones are, is a good idea. Then, we can list the rest of them below. That means we can tell what event is the 1337th event, or that we did 62 events last year. We basically want the scrollbar to be really small and for there to be a huge list, so that it looks like we're doing a lot of stuff. Right now it looks like we're not doing anything. |

If we want to show that we have done a ton of stuff I think it's a better approach to display weekly events once. For example, we can say that we have kodstugor every week and that we currently have done 100 of them. If we display everything in one list it will only look disorganized and lazy, in my opinion. This will also have the added benefit of highlighting different types of event we do, instead of letting them all get lost in the mess. |

Remember that humans percieve numbers logarithmically. Maybe we could have some summary at the top, with the 3-5 latest events of each kind, and then a complete chronological (filterable) list below? |

The more I think about it the more I agree with Simons assesment that it is better to display the types of events that we have done, and focus especially on larger/higher-profile events such as nwerc and kodstuga-events with Spotify for example. |
