Porting the safe extension

The Safe extension has not yet been ported to version 3, but should be for a future release.

I can't use Mathjax v3 because the safe extension isn't provided. When do you port the safe extension? Or any plans?

I have made a pull request (mathjax/MathJax-src#514) that includes a porting the Safe extension for v3. it will be in the next release. If you want to try it out before then, you could clone this repository, then check out the safe-extension branch, and build the extension by hand:

npm install
npm run compile
npm run make-components

You can include it into your page by adding 'ui/safe' to the load array in the loader section of your MathJax configuration.
