- Passengers are not allowed to enter.
- This does not apply to:
- nationals of Hungary and their family members;
- passengers with a permanent residence permit issued by Hungary, and their family members;
- passengers with a residence permit issued by Hungary with a validity longer than 90 days;
- passengers with a "D" visa issued by Hungary;
- passengers entering Hungary to transit by land to a third country. They must prove that they can enter the final destination, or prove that they can enter a neighboring country in order to reach their final destination;
- passengers traveling on business;
- passengers with a signed and stamped letter issued by the Deputy-Chief Officer of the National Police;
- passengers with an immunity COVID-19 certificate issued by Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Bahrain, Benin, Cape Verde, Chinese Taipei, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Egypt, El Salvador, Faroe Isl., Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Maldives, Moldova (Rep.), Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, North Macedonia (Rep.), Norway, Panama, Romania, Russian Fed., San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Uzbekistan or Vatican City (Holy See) and minors under 18 years in their company.
- passengers with an EU Digital Covid Certificate (EU DCC) showing that:
- they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm and Sinovac at least 14 days and at most 6 months before arrival; or
- they received a booster dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm and Sinovac at least 14 days and at most 6 months before arrival; or
- they were fully vaccinated with Janssen at least 21 days and at most 6 months before arrival; or
- they received a booster dose of Janssen at least 21 days and at most 6 months before arrival; or
- they have a positive COVID-19 test taken at most 6 months before arrival. They must also have a recovery certificate; or

- Passengers arriving from or who in the past 14 days have been in Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe are not allowed to enter.

- Passengers could be subject to medical screening.

- Airline crew are subject to medical screening and quarantine until their next scheduled flight.
