WinAppDriver 1.2.1 overall slow

I was initially working on winappdriver 1.2 and installed 1.2.1 version last week.
I am finding 1.2.1 slower than 1.2 at many steps.
XPATH -
there is been no improvment. It is still taking lot of time where xpath is used.
Tables/Grids -
if i send any text using sendkeys, it takes lot of time in writing the text. Each character can be seen typing in the table.
