• New Titlebar controls includes robust titlebar capabilities like empty-space draggable regions, theme responsiveness, caption buttons and built-in accessibility support.
• Support for MathML
• New Runtime compatibility options to provide more control over how servicing changes affect apps.
• New ReleaseInfo API provides easy access to the version of the WinAppSDK runtime in use.

Bugs fixed in the new WinAppSDK Release:

• SplitButton doesn't behave as split button using touch microsoft-ui-xaml#178 - Changed 'SplitButton' so touch input now matches the behavior of mouse input. |
• Proposal: Click on cascading menu items to instantly open the cascading menu microsoft-ui-xaml#939 - Changed cascading menus so sub menus now open immediately if clicked |
• Opening a ComboBox Flyout within another Flyout Closes all Flyouts microsoft-ui-xaml#1467 - Fixed an issue where opening a ComboBox which is in a flyout closes all flyouts
• SwipeControl (WUX/MUX) causes random crashes in ListView microsoft-ui-xaml#2527 - Fixed an issue where SwipeControl would randomly crash in a ListView
• Dropping element on ListViewItem leaves drop target in bad VSM state microsoft-ui-xaml#3458 - Fixed an issue where drag-and-drop only a ListViewItem would leave it in the wrong visual state
• ItemsRepeater does not respect HorizontalAlignment. microsoft-ui-xaml#3842 - Fixed an issue in StackLayout so that is respects the ItemsRepeater.HorizontalAlignment and VerticalAlignment properties
• ItemsRepeater fails to realize virtualized elements from bottom of list as items are removed from top of list microsoft-ui-xaml#6661 - Fixed an issue when deleting items in the ItemsRepeater alignment was stretched
• Right alt key does not show key tips for access keys microsoft-ui-xaml#8447 - Fixed an issue where the right Alt key would not show Keytips for Access Keys
• Application hangs when scrolling microsoft-ui-xaml#9199 - Fixed a crash where UniformGridLayout would sometimes pick a wrong layout anchor and cause infinite layout passes when scrolling backwards
• Setting true to NavigationFailedEventArgs.Handled is not respected microsoft-ui-xaml#9632 - Fized an issue where setting NavigationFailedEventArgs.Handled to True would still throw an exception
• TabView.CornerRadius isn't applied microsoft-ui-xaml#9846 - Fixed an issue where TabView would not apply any specific CornerRadius
• The ItemsView crashes when it scrolls microsoft-ui-xaml#9852 - Fixed a potential layout cycle crash in StackLayout
• Nested ObservableCollection crashes when removing item microsoft-ui-xaml#9868 - Fixed a potential crash in ItemsView when removing items.

Finally the titlebar control has returned. I was pretty happy to hear this so I can finally move from the WinUIEx titlebar control, but I encountered a few issues with it:

• Back button is not animated
• Caption buttons don't update colors correctly for app theme (WinUIEx used to have this issue Caption controls don't update to on theme change dotMorten/WinUIEx#210; This has been already been reported before and is reoccurring? New TitleBar Caption Button Colors does not work properly microsoft-ui-xaml#9788)
• You can drag the window by the back button (and mess up the tooltip) - This is even if you set the window titlebar to the control

I'm not sure if any of these behaviors were intentional for the titlebar control. Caption buttons are clearly a bug, but I don't know if the back button being draggable and not animated are as expected.

@RDMacLachlan I made an issue showcasing the bug with the back button: microsoft/microsoft-ui-xaml#10350

The issue with the caption buttons being the wrong color was already reported. Supposedly it was fixed but it still exists for me on preview 1.
