Custom Icons on DocumentSymbols for a custom OUTLINE

I'm developing an extension that creates a custom OUTLINE but I saw the only icons you I use are the ones defined by vscode.SymbolKind.

sometimes any of the icons FIT to my necessities and there is no way to change it.

Aas well increasing flexibility to the outline item would be great like transparency or any other custom object you want to display into the item.

as well will be great have an event when something specific happens to the outlne item, for example when the item is selected by a click.

In this way I can do something about that in the text editor, for example highlight the lines in yellow that correspond to that item or whatever other option in the extension
