The Inter font on mozilla.org used as fallback for many locales is version 3.5 released in 2019:

There were major updates to the font since then with many improvements, the latest version is 4.1:
https://github.com/rsms/inter/releases

It would be nice to update it, I did on my own site and the visual improvement is noticeable.
