This particular PDF displays strangely in pdf.js (in Iceweasel 31.1.0-esr1 on Debian sid, Linux amd64, fwiw): http://www.cs.utexas.edu/~tdillig/cs395/popl78.pdf

The page is covered with horizontal lines, which don't appear in (for example) evince. pdf.js looks like this:

Duplicate of #5133. Confirmed fixed on latest pdf.js here.
