If you run into this error and are not using bash as your shell, then there is a chance that Apples System Integrity Protection is preventing the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH from being passed to vulkano.
You caan disable it like this however it will technically make your computer less secure.

One way to avoid this would be to have all the libvulkan libraries in /usr/local/lib however I have not managed to get this working yet.

One way to solve this if you are using fish:

contains $VULKAN_SDK/lib: $DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH
or set -x DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH "$VULKAN_SDK/lib:$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH"
