Yes, in most code editors or integrated development environments (IDEs), you can usually hide/show the file tree using a keyboard shortcut. In Visual Studio Code (VS Code), a popular code editor, you can use the "Ctrl + B" shortcut to toggle the visibility of the file tree. If you are using a different code editor, you can usually find the keyboard shortcut for hiding/showing the file tree in the editor's documentation or settings. GitHub also provides a keyboard shortcut to hide/show the file tree on the code view page. You can use the "t" key to toggle the visibility of the file tree on and off. So, while viewing a file on GitHub, just press the "t" key to quickly hide/show the file tree. |

Is there a keyboard short-cut to hide/show the file tree?
I like to view the side-by-side diff, and thus I need more space two show the old and the new versions of the code side-by-side.
A short-cut would be handy.
