Renewable energy is energy that comes from a source that won't run out. They are natural and self-replenishing, and usually have a low- or zero-carbon footprint. Examples of renewable energy sources include wind power, solar power, bioenergy (organic matter burned as a fuel) and hydroelectric, including tidal energy.

The renewable energy would somehow need to include an electric bolt, circular arrows, and a leaf.
I would say, two arrows (like 'reload'/'refresh' or 3 folded arrows in a triangle), with a small bolt lying on top of a leaf in the center.

In addition, icons related to energy that are missing:

• 12V battery (traditional style with + and - on top)
• transformer (coils)
• solar panel (maybe with and/or without sunlight indicators)
• (diesel) generator
• generic turbine
• wind turbine (either frontal stick with 3 blades, or sideways with wavy wind, or both :) )
• hydro dam (maybe side-view, left-top water wave, slightly slanting line down, right-bottom water wave)
• gas tank (possibly with H2)
• pump jack (oil)
• power plant (like the factory icon)
• electric power lines (one of those towers with lines)

Getting electrical grid icons like a transmission tower and power line would be awesome.
