With latest master I can connect and stream to my Sonos - but the sound quality is really bad. Any ideas?

What does bad sound quality mean? The stream is choppy, or that the audio is noisy?

Sorry, should have clarified I meant the fidelity. Like an AM radio in a tin can submerged under water.

Hi, I also find the fidelity of the sound to be not good.
It seems to make the music sound downgraded, or maybe converted to very low bitrate?
Would be awesome if the quality can still maintain as close to original

Other than that, awesome work Stephen, appreciate you making this! =)
Thanks

Hi Stephen. Thx a lot for your awesome work. Like jherskowitz already mentioned, the sound is poor quality, sounds numb and the bass is clipping.
I use Raspberry 3, with node V.4.2.1 and latest airsonos, libavahi and libasound. Any ideas?
Thanks, Norbert

I have the same issue - bass seems to be clipping, and I'm also using a Raspberry Pi 3 like @Norbert-F, so maybe its related to this somehow?
