📲 What

I want to deprecate the nx generator for Cypress tests

🤔 Why

Cypress is no longer supported within Stacks so we need to deprecated it

🛠 How

Deprecation notice put into relevant readme files
Files updated to removed cypress references - or say deprecated.
e2e pipeline tests swapped to use Playwright
Cypress no longer option in workspace cli

👀 Evidence

Screenshots / external resources / links / etc.
Link to documentation updated with changes impacted in the PR

🕵️ How to test

Notes for QA

✅ Acceptance criteria Checklist

  • Code peer reviewed?
  • Documentation has been updated to reflect the changes?
  • Passing all automated tests, including a successful deployment?
  • Passing any exploratory testing?
  • Rebased/merged with latest changes from development and re-tested?

We are deprecating Cypress as it is no longer supported by Stacks.
Do you think we need to do anything with the content of ./e2e/cypress-e2e? I can't see how this is used and the only way I think we could "mark" it as deprecated is to add a "deprecated" tag in the project.json file.

No longer needed to be published version of main 2.0.7. c634db6 ?? when this is published
