Steps to reproduce

Open the colony and pay attention to the loader skeleton

Expected behaviour

The UI loader should display smoothly while loading.

Actual behaviour

The UI loader breaks during loading, leaving certain components incomplete or broken.

There's already #4176 for this, which, while technically opened after this one, tracks the issue more consistently.

I'm closing this in favor of the above.
