This product is a buck-boost switch mode power supply module using Analog Devices LTM8055. Supports the wide voltage input range of 5V to 36V. The output current and switching frequency are determined by the resistor value to be mounted.
This product was designed with a recommended 12V/6A output and a switching frequency of 600kHz. However, it was later changed to 18V/5A output and 800kHz switching frequency to suit SUSTAINA-OPTM applications.

The die temperature of the LTM8055/LTM8055-1 must be lower than the maximum rating of 125°C. Therefore, it is recommended that the following heat sinks be affixed to the LTM8055/LTM8055-1.
Details: Analog Devices LTM8055/LTM8055-1 Data Sheet Page#18
The output voltage of LTM8055/LTM8055-1 is determined by R4 and R5 on the board, and the switching frequency by R3. If the voltage is set other than the recommended configuration voltage, the voltage is determined by the following equation.
Output voltage [V] = 1.2 * (1 + R4 / R5)
