Found another case of some typing errors that are correlated with JSII using an old version of TypeScript. Technically there is a bug in upstream (aws/aws-sdk-js-v3#3297), but using a new TypeScript version a la aws/aws-cdk-rfcs#373 would also have prevented this issue
