Uninstaller/Connector fixes
In this release, we've fixed the following issues, many of which have to do with the installation/uninstallation process itself:
- Correct registration of the application name with QuickBooks. When provisioning a new QuickBooks Element Instance to connect to a QuickBooks Enterprise via G2C, be sure to use the correct name as the "Configured Application Name" during the provisioning step.
- Fixed an issue where the QB Connector application was multiple-listening on the same port number, which may have caused intermittent traffic problems.
- Uninstalling G2C from the Windows "Apps & Features" or "Programs & Features" Control Panel will uninstall everything that was installed. This may include the node runtime, the QB Connector, the QB SDKv13 components, and the G2C binary and support files itself. For security reasons, some components may require user confirmation to uninstall.
- Fixed lingering QB Connector execution, which was preventing QuickBooks Enterprise from cleanly exiting.
Fixed lingering QB Connector startup link, which caused the QB Connector to attempt to start after a machine reboot, even after it had uninstalled.
