Normally, with KDE Plasma 5 on FreeBSD (probably also on Linux), key chords Control-Shift-U and Shift-Control-U can be used for Unicode character composition. For example:

Control-Shift-U 2026 Spacebar = …

With /develop/ the chord is misinterpreted and then the required character is inserted at the wrong point, for example:

2017-08-07 06 11 04 develop

No such problem with /app/:

2017-08-07 06 12 43 app

Environment

riot-web 4b5febadb711-react-91c96c1c2768-js-bdb90b4b334f

Firefox 54.0.1; Seamonkey (User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0 SeaMonkey/2.48, build ID 20170805093722); and other browsers.

ctrl + shift + u seems to insert an underlined "u"...
