Would there be any reason 4.8.x doesn't work but 4.7.0 does, in the same setup?

Probably an odd one, however TL:DR – I am running Flood with various other services, via Traefik, with Authelia. I am hand rolling almost all containers – mainly because it was originally a learning exercise – and everything works fine until I switch out Flood 4.7.0 for 4.8.x. As soon as I make the change Flood is not accessible via the web. I'm passing three env variables (FLOOD_OPTION_HOST, FLOOD_OPTION_ALLOWEDPATH, FLOOD_OPTION_BASEURI) in each case and nothing has changed bar the flood version.

can you explain “not accessible via the web” and try to connect to flood directly without reverse proxy to see the which components is not working as expected?

Also use f12 to open console in browser to see what happened

Thanks @trim21 – much appreciated. Am at work now so will try those things when I get a chance.

Regarding not accessible via the web, in the logs for 4.8.5, /flood returns a 404 (and the same in the browser). API urls, i.e. /flood/api/torrents return a 200, though return 404 in the browser. v4.7.0 returns 200 for both and both work in the browser.

Odder still, if I don't pass FLOOD_OPTION_BASEURI and tweak my Traefik settings so it works on the my.domain.com, rather than my.domain.com/flood, I can see the login page…

This has made me think it's not respecting the FLOOD_OPTION_BASEURI, but I might be barking up the wrong tree.

there maybe some problem with FLOOD_OPTION_BASEURI, try use flood directly with and without this option.

okay so had some time to mess round with this today, given your pointers @trim21.

I have latest and 4.8.5 working with one small caveat: /flood still doesn't work. However /flood/ does and anything else past that does too, i.e. /flood/login, /flood/overview, /flood/api/torrents etc.

This isn't the case with 4.7.5 where both /flood and /flood/ works, though not sure that this is an issue given it works now.

Sounds like difference between 2 web framework, I'll take a deep look when i have spare time, please tweak your reverse proxy workaround this at this moment
