Update Notes:

  • Fixed some dialog icon inconsistencies.
  • Updated Oculus Killer download.
  • Added the option to create a start menu shortcut.
  • x86 (32-bit) systems are no longer supported. Just upgrade already.
  • You no longer need to install the .NET 7 runtime, however the file size is significantly larger as a result.

What does Oculus Kill Switch do?

  • It allows you to easily toggle between the default Oculus Dash and Oculus Killer.
  • Asks if you'd like to have Oculus Killer downloaded, if you don't already have it installed.
  • If the Oculus Dash or SteamVR is open, it will to prevent you from switching to prevent issues.
    • Having the Oculus Client open displays a warning, as I haven't found a better way to check if you're in VR. You can choose to disable this warning, but please be cautious of switching.

Quality of Life Features

  • If opened in the wrong directory, it will open the directory you need to put the program, so it should be as simple as a drag-and-drop.
  • Asks if you'd like to make a start menu and desktop shortcut for the program.
  • Notifies you of any newer available versions.
