shall we change this to map[string]bool? I think bool as map value is easier to understand then index i and len(statements)

shall we change this to map[string]bool? I think bool as map value is easier to understand then index i and len(statements)

I use the index value, it's required to maintain the ordering otherwise we get random order and failed tests.

for i, st := range statements {
statementMap[st.Id()] = i
}

for _, st := range newStatements {
if i, ok := statementMap[st.Id()]; ok {
// replace the statement with new one if matches the id
statements[i] = st
continue
}

// otherwise append the statement
statementMap[st.Id()] = len(statements)
statements = append(statements, st)
}
