This is the current list of hosted runners that we have configured for the OpenTelemetry org:

  • otel-linux-latest-8-cores
  • otel-linux-latest-4-cores
  • otel-linux-latest-2-cores removed
  • otel-windows-latest-8-cores
  • otel-windows-arm64
  • otel-linux-arm64 removed
  • github-benchmark-runner

Given that the standard runner for linux has 4-cores, I think these shouldn't be necessary once their existing usage has been removed:

  • otel-linux-latest-4-cores
  • otel-linux-latest-2-cores removed

And given that linux arm64 runners are now in public preview, I think this shouldn't be necessary anymore once existing usage has been removed:

  • otel-linux-arm64 removed

otel-linux-latest-2-cores doesn't have any usage across the org so I've gone ahead and removed that one

otel-linux-arm64 usages have all been removed across the org so I've removed that runner as well
