Why do I only see one team?

We've got a new GitHub Organization in our GitHub Enterprise. I've created two teams to use for adding users to. However, when I go to the organization's Team tab in the browser, I only see one.

Why is that?

Hello @queenofcorgis , correct, I am only seeing one team. But GitHub tells me there are two teams. It is confusing.

@Rod-at-DOH did you intend to create your second team as a child team of Cross-Bureau-Admin-Team? From the screenshot it looks like your second team is nested within that - if you click the down carat under members that second will be visible.

What? I have no idea what you're talking about. If I did crate a child team, HOW did I create a child team? And how do I make a child team, just a team?

Never mind, I figured out how to undo it. But I still have no idea how I created a child team under Cross-Bureau-Admin-Team. Please tell me what I did wrong, so I can avoid it in future.

When you created the second team - did you select a parent team from the dropdown during creation?

To make a child team just a team, you'll go into the settings for that team and clear the team from the parent team dropdown.
