GitHub Education Approval #152052
-
Hi everyone, just wanted to share my (not very ideally) experience with the GitHub Education Program so far. So, I recently got accepted—yay! 🎉 But I’m still waiting for the benefits to enable. At least I’m officially qualified, so that’s a win! Had some trouble with the verification process, though. I couldn’t use a virtual camera, so I was stuck with my not-so-great webcam. Tried using my phone, but it only let me access the front-facing camera. Then I switched to my Windows device, and it still took way too many tries… but in the end, everything worked out fine. Is it just me, or did anyone else have similar issues? Also, how long did it take for your accounts to get verified? |

Hi @Goldsucher07, Congrats on getting accepted! The verification process can be tricky, especially with different cameras. It usually takes a few hours to a couple of days for verification, but if it's taking longer, try contacting GitHub support. |
