Description of changes
As discussed and mentioned in #702, the
showparameter in all our plotting functions is somewhat obsolete. Additionally, ifshow=Trueandreturn_fig=True, an empty figure is returned because the Matplotlib plot is cleared byshow(). Hence, I removed theshowparameter from all plotting functions andplt.show()is called by default, unlessreturn_fig=True.Additionally, for
pt.tl.Sccoda.plot_effects_barplotandpt.tl.Sccoda.plot_boxplots, whenplot_facets=True, an empty plot was returned since the plot wasn't created directly via Matplotlib. This issue has now been fixed too.
